Kilkenny is the proud home of Old Mill Pictures. We have produced films here since 2015, while founder Shane Hatton began making films in the county more than a decade earlier through Young Irish Film Makers.
For producers and organisations filming here, that familiarity brings practical knowledge of the city, rural locations, local relationships and the way the landscape changes through the year. We can support part of a visiting production or carry a complete film from planning through to delivery.

Kilkenny Day 2020
Over the past few years, I have accumulated a lot of footage of the place I am very proud to call home. I love Kilkenny for its beauty, its culture, its history and its friendly and welcoming people. I had a bit of fun going through my archives and compiling this short film demonstrating the things I love most about Kilkenny.
