Gloak Our Laces

The film follows Traveller men, women and young people from Carlow and Kilkenny across six copper-working workshops led by artist Mary Cassidy. The project connects Traveller craft traditions with conversations about positive mental health and wellbeing; the finished work was created for display at the Department of Psychiatry at St Luke's General Hospital, Carlow/Kilkenny. Produced in 2022, the film was publicly screened at Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny, on 1 March 2023.

Paulstown/Goresbridge Community Sports Park

We had a vision and an idea, Shane from Old Mill Pictures brought this idea to life. We can not thank Shane enough for his professionalism and expertise. He made multiple visits to our village to capture additional footage and extra interviews. The attention to detail in the final production video was outstanding. We had a vague idea of a narrative we wanted to portray, Shane nailed it, with a visually stunning video. Old Mill Pictures are excellent, I would not hesitate in recommending this company. Thanks!
