Kíla and Africa Sounds at Ballykeeffe
Two days of Irish world music, Congolese rumba and Afrobeat in Kilkenny's open-air amphitheatre.
The project
Crossroads Recording presented Kíla at Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre on 11 September 2021, followed the next day by Africa Sounds with Elikya and Yankari.
The coverage moves between full-stage geography, individual musicians and the audience's view of the amphitheatre, preserving the character of three very different live performances in the quarry setting.
